Hello!
My name is Kelly. I'm 34 and I have a Husband and 3 children. We're planning a huge move later this year so, in preparation, I'm starting a drastic new household budget which will (hopefully) give us a bit of extra cash towards the moving expenses.
It struck me that there might be other families winching in their belts so I thought that a blog might inspire them (and keep me on the straight and narrow)
So, by way of a mission statement, I will...
1) make a blog entry every day
2) report truthfully everything I spend on feeding this lot
3) give you details of what I've cooked that day, how much it cost and how it went down with my family
I'll do other stuff too but for now the 4 points above are my targets and I solemnly promise to do my best to reach them.
Off now to finish up the last of the Christmas chocs - it's a real bind but I don't want to start my new thriftiness with remnants of my past excess hanging around (hows that for an excuse to scoff chocs until I pass out?!)
